Introduction to brewing and evaluating coffee through cupping, the industry standard method. The lab provides an overview of the uses of cupping, as well as common terminology and process and protocol guidelines.   We’ll analyze the taste and smell of the coffees on our menu each week, build vocabulary and sensory memories, and learn cupping procedure.

Participants should expect to smell and taste coffee beverages for palate development.

 

Those attending are asked to refrain from wearing perfumes and colognes as these will impair sensory judgement
