This class purely for coffee enthusiasts looking to fast-track their basic knowledge by combining Cupping & Pour Over Methodologies.  The first half will be an introduction to brewing and evaluating coffee through cupping. The lab provides an overview of the uses of cupping, as well as common terminology and process and protocol guidelines. We’ll analyze the taste and smell of the coffees on our menu each week, build vocabulary and sensory memories, and learn cupping procedure. 

The second half will comprise hands-on teaching and practicing of the most common Pour Over methods - Hario V60, Chemex, and Aeropress.

Participants should expect to smell and taste coffee beverages for palate development.

Those attending are asked to refrain from wearing perfumes and colognes as these will impair sensory judgement
